Description: Derik stands at about 6'0'', but his short, white and spikey hair adds another inch to the height. His face is without facial hair, besides the fur that is part of his wolf ears, and he is usually found grinning in some way. His slightly tanned body is very fit and muscular, just not overly muscular. His usual clothes include sleeveless shirts and pants with wide pant legs, with odd designs on them (Flames being the most consistent). He most of the time will be found wearing sandals wherever he goes, since it is the most comfortable for him. He wears his favorite red headband that he received from the dojo he used to train at.

Abilities: Derik's abilities are focused entirely on strengthening his Totemic form, to make it the best it possibly can be for combat.

Totemic Fusion: Kizerieb - The Kizerieb is a type of Wolf monster that exists in the wilderness of Kharon, and it is not exactly visible to the human eye. Due to it's magical nature, the Kizerieb is completely invisible in light, giving it stealth at most times. In shadows, the Kizerieb will appear as a mere white glow, making it look like a spirit. But it is a physical form. The form has sharp claws and teeth that it uses for fighting, as well as the ability to use telepathy. The Kizerieb is around 2 to 3 times the size of a standard wolf, and weighs at about 200 to 500 pounds, though Derik's form is at about 2.5 the size and at about 378 pounds.

Totemic Union: This further extends the effects of the Totemic Fusion, combining him with this totemic soul even more. He is so entwined with his totemic soul that some of the Kizerieb's traits have begun to affect his human form as well. His human ears were replaced entirely by furry wolf ears, and his nails are a bit longer then they normally would be. His human form is also much stronger due to the union, but with it comes some of the habits of the Kizerieb. It also makes shifting between the his two forms much easier and faster.

Genetic Splicing: Keratin - Keratin, the chemical that makes up hair and nails on any creature. The genetic splicing he got, many times, has strengthened his keratin, resulting in his hair and nails being super hard. Also as a result though, his hair and nails don't grow very fast. These effects also apply for his Totemic form, and it does have claws and fur, despite what the human eye can see.

Alteration of Blood: Derik decided that since he was going to be a full out melee fighter, that he needed to up his abilities to make it count. Getting the Alteration of Blood allows him to move much faster in both his human form and his Totemic form, as well as increase his strength.

Rune Tattoo: Sonic Move: This tattoo grants a temporary speed boost when activated. Unlike before, where the painted on temporary tattoo would run on the magic of the rune, and disappear when it ran out, this tattoo takes it's power from Derik's own endurance. Generally better to be used in short bursts at a time.

Martial Arts: The Martial art the Derik uses imitates that of a wolf, and since he knows what it's like to be a wolf first hand, he has a pretty good grasp on how it works. He strikes hard and fast, taking every opportunity he gets to strike his opponent. Will sometimes use his sharp nails if it is necessary.

Equipment: Fingerless steel knuckle gloves.

Bio: Derik is a quick to act man, finding that the best solutions can be found in an instant. He is very happy-go-lucky though, and is grinning almost all the time. He finds the thrills of combat to be quite enjoyable, and while he is confident in his abilities, he is also a very good sportsman about it, and knows when he has met his better. Despite his battle strategy being sneaky, Derik is not at all sneaky in his relationships with others, unless he is acting on his perversion.

There is no known reason for Derik's pervision, maybe it's because of his animal nature, being fused with the soul of a wolf. He knows exactly what he wants, and acts on it, despite the consequences that result later. But when the consequences do come, he accepts them as if he deserved them.

Derik's past was pretty simple. He grew up in a city, like normal children, watched the RSCB like normal children, and dreamed of being a combatant like normal children. He also watched the hunter's program as well, and learned about the Kizerieb, and found them fascinating, so he decided to do research on them. As he got older, he decided to train in martial arts, using that as a basis for the style he would use much later. When he reached the age to become a combatant he went and registered immediately, using all of his saved up money for the totemic fusion, despite his parents' want for something more simple.

Of course, he never really did have much money to help him afford the treatments, and so he teamed up with Terref Scryre and started to commit acts of thievery, selling whatever they stole to get funds for whatever they wanted to do. With this he was able to afford more Keratin hardening genetic splicing.

After the war against Kume, Derik went on to do his own thing, and he and Terref had split up.
